Ready!!

We are at ETBU waiting for the students to get here tomorrow!!! I think this week is going to be so good and fly by fast! I have been reading Meagy and Coltins blogs and it sounds like they are having a wonderful time! I can't wait to see them when I get back from my trip, they come home 4 days after I leave:( I will miss them! I can't wait to see what is in store for my group when we head over to Kazakhstan... We are all excited about going! Thank goodness one of the girls in my group knows how to play nertz so I guess that is what we will be doing in the airport haha:) I can't wait!

Back to super summer... This week JR Vassar is the speaker... He is a great family friend of ours and I can't wait to see him!! I hope that some great things happen in the hearts of not only the students coming but also the people working!

Ready or Not...

So today me and daddy came back to ETBU for our week of super summer! People keep asking me if I am ready for my trip and the more I talk about it I just can't wait to get over to Kazakhstan! I leave in 7 days and it is just now hitting me that I am going overseas! I know it is going to be one of the most awesome things I experience in my life haha! I hope this week goes by quick! I can't wait:)

Here goes nothin...

So me and my mom came to dallas to spend a few days with my grandparents before I leave for my trip! We will go home today and then things get CRAZY! I have to pack for two different trips at the same time which should be interesting because I HATE packing:( Thank goodness for great friends like Savannah Pinnion that like to come and help me haha! Anyways... Early Friday morning me and my dad will leave to go back to ETBU for a week of Super Summer and then the trip that I have been waiting for all year will finally be here! I can't wait:) Things are getting crazy but I can't wait to see what things are in store for the up coming events!

Bored already?

I never realized how boring my life is without Meagan... Even if we are both bored at least we are bored together right? haha:) Well I am just about to go crazy because I have been sitting in this little office at ETBU for about one hour which is a LONG time when you have nothing to do haha...

P.S. shout out to the interns from last summer... Even though Liand and Lindsey were talking trash about ya'll, I wish ya'll were here right now... I miss hanging out with ya'll:( Come home soon? Thanks!

Let the games begin...

Tomorrow morning at eight o'clock my mom, dad, and I will be heading to ETBU to help get Super Summer ready... This coming week will be so crazy! I am trying to fit in time to hang out with friends and family before my trip and I have not even thought about packing yet! My mom and Lindsey will be leaving Wednesday to head to Super Summer and HSU which kind of means that I will be left alone to pack... Even though I am old enough to pack my own bags my mom still helps out sometimes haha!! I just hope I get everything together! Then me and daddy will leave a week from tomorrow for our week of Super Summer and then I go straight into base camp then on my trip! It feels so far away but really it is only a little less than 2 weeks away which is just crazy! But I can't wait:)

Shoe intervention... Perhaps?

So as many of you know my obsession with TOMS is a bit crazy!! I own SIX pairs and it seems that every time I go to Racquet & Jog (the place where I get my TOMS) even if that isn't what I am there to get I go look... I am drawn to them I guess haha! Well today I purchased some Chacos... My sisters have been harping me about how TOMS will be bad for my feet when I go on my trip so I gave in a bought chacos. Don't get me wrong I will still be taking my TOMS but also my chacos! I will see if they are telling the truth about how comfortable they are:) As I begin to purchase things for my trip it just makes me want to be there more and more! Only 16 more days til I set off on my adventure!

Only Child

So today my sister and two of her best friends set out on possibly one of the biggest adventures of their lives... As I watched them check their bags in I simply thought to myself "I will be the only child for a while." As much as I tell myself I like it that way the truth is I feel like part of me is missing! I have no clue what to do! Don't get me wrong, I love spending time with my parents but they can't take the place of my sisters! I can't wait to be with them and hear all of the great stories about what great things happened to them... Until then all I can do is think about them:)
